to Seattle! The kids and I packed up EARLY this morning and headed to Seattle. We stopped 1/2 way and look at the beautiful cow the girls were able to stop and get a picture with!
Our first stop was Nana's...they (Konrad's mom and brother) have just moved into a new place, so we got to check it out and the kids helped unpack a few things (and Nana didn't even have to ask - he,he). She is still recovering from her stroke (it's been a year) but we are hopeful she will pick up some strength now that she is in a place where she has the room to exercise and go for walks!
Then it was off to my nephew's birthday party! We went to a soccer arena and the kids ran around like crazy! It was perfect...they played soccer for 20 minutes then got to play in the inflatable bouncy for 30 minutes and then pizza, cake and time to head out! The kids were exhausted, but had enough energy to stop and watch their cousin open his presents and play with their new puppy "Bolt" (a cute little chiwawa mix that is less than 5 lbs)...I need to get a picture of him, cause he is cute! Makes me miss my doggies, A LOT!
Luckily we also got to visit with our Aunt who lives in New Jersey...she was in town and we got to spend some time with her before she left to go see grandma and grandpa! It was great to see her and get caught up on what our cousins were doing now! We sure miss all of them!
The kids slept most of the way home and I am happy about that! I hope that tomorrow is a pretty low key day, but we'll see! :-) Have a great week!
